First Gymnastics FREE trial class 😊

Our system shows that you have either booked on or have been invited to a trial class for your child at one of our gymnastics classes.

We are looking forward to meeting you and your child. You should have received a confirmation email with details of date, venue and time with a few notes about exactly where in your chosen venue the classes take place. If you don’t think you have received this, it may have gone to your junk folder. You can also find all of the details in the account you will have set up when booking in on the classforkids app which you can download for IOS or android.

If you can no longer make the trial session please do let us know so we can free up the place for another child.

We only offer a trial when there is a space available.

The best clothing is t shirt and/or leotard and leggings/shorts. The children will do the class in bare feet and will need to bring a drink but please no food. Long hair needs to be tied back and no jewellery please.

We ask that parents stay for the first session to help ensure children feel settled and to give you a chance to see how our classes run. After this initial session, if you decide to join, we do not have parents in the room. We find that children concentrate much better without the additional distraction and noise.

If you are booked into a Pre‑School class, a parent or guardian must remain with their child for the full duration of every session.

You will get a flavour of what the classes are like but here are some key points:

– We work through a bespoke and structured programme tailored to age and ability

– Our classes are recreational – for enjoyment – we want the children to come out of classes smiling

– Each week during a term is different – Variety is very important to us

– We split into 2 groups. 1 group will work with a coach on progressions and developments for a core Gymnastics skill. The other group will use the apparatus (Beams & benches, Trampettes, Vault, Bars, Airtracks)

– Each term we reward children for progress and demonstration of our values

 Securing your child’s place after the FREE trial

Hopefully your child will enjoy their session and want to return. Following their trial you will receive an e mail inviting you to accept or decline the place. Please can you respond either way to this invitation asap after the trial so we know if you are returning.

If you accept the place, you just need to set up your subscription to secure it.

This can be done very quickly and easily by clicking on the link in your booking confirmation and adding card details. The first payment will come out on the 1st of the next month. Sibling discounts will be added after the subscription is set up.

As you will be joining mid month, once your subscription is set up your first regular payment will be taken on the 1st of the following month. In addition to this, there will be a cover payment for any sessions booked in the current month after your free trial.

This ensures your subscription is aligned with our monthly payment cycle while also covering the extra sessions you attend before your first full month begins

First Gymnastics weekly sessions run in accordance with school term time (usually for 39 weeks of the year) Payment is by monthly subscription. Your child’s place is not secure until your subscription is set up. Your payment plan covers all class fees for the year, a First Gymnastics T-shirt, and any awards earned. These fees are split into 12 affordable payments therefore fees are still due during term holidays. The number of sessions in a month will vary depending on school holiday dates but the fees will remain the same every month. These fees are taken out on the 1st of every month.

There are no weekly classes during the month of August. Fees will still be taken on 1st August and will secure a First Gymnastics Merch Bundle for your child to be given out in September.

 If for any reason you wish your child to stop attending classes, cancellation is simple if required. You just need to e-mail us (cheshirewest@firstgymnastics.uk) 28 days before the next payment is due & the payment is stopped.
